We will explain how to save your designs in the Energy system designer.
Energy system designed saving options
The Energy system designer (ESD) does not automatically save your changes. You must ensure to save them manually before leaving the Energy system designer to avoid losing any updates.
There are two locations where you can access the saving options - from the File menu in the top navigation of the ESD and via the “Save” button to the top right. Both contain the following options:
Save: Saves the design without closing the ESD (Click the “Save” button).
Save and close: Saves the design and exits the ESD (dropdown arrow next to the “Save” button).
Close: Closes the ESD without saving any changes (dropdown arrow next to the “Save” button).
Note: Automatic design validation is performed when you save your work to ensure it complies with all ESD and electrical requirements.
