We will explain what is the energy system validation and how to use it.
Energy system validation
The energy system designer offers many customization tools, and users may inadvertently misconfigure it, potentially leading to compatibility issues.
We have introduced a system validation tool that will help you identify such issues quickly. Its advanced algorithm checks factors like matching voltage on transformers and the grid or compatibility of phases. The system validation tool will indicate what needs to be changed to make the system compatible and viable.
Activating system validation
System validation is triggered every time you save your project. If you want to validate the system manually before saving, you can activate it using the “System validation” button on the 3D map.
Validated parameters
You can examine the validation results by clicking the “System validation” on the 3D map.
You can see in the example above that the validation uncovered two issues:
Inverters connected to the same transformer do not have the same AC voltage parameters;
All MPPTs are within their load limits.
This insight indicates what you need to change to make the system pass the validation. To fix the issues in this case, you need to:
Select inverters with the same Vac for all inverter setups;
Decrease the string size per inverter in the array settings.
You can save an invalid design and return to it later to fix the issues. Minor issues may still allow you to execute the simulation.
