We will explain what the energy system validation is and how to work with it.
Energy system validation
The energy system designer offers many customization tools, and users may inadvertently misconfigure it, potentially leading to compatibility issues.
The system validation tool helps you identify such issues quickly. Its advanced algorithm checks factors like matching voltage on transformers and the grid or compatibility of phases. The system validation tool will indicate what needs to be changed to make the system compatible and viable.
Activating system validation
System validation is triggered every time you make changes to the design or when you save your project. If you want to validate the system manually, navigate to the System and select System validation. The validation result will show on the screen.

For every calcualtion, there’s an indicator with the actual operation being performed and it’s progress indicated with a progress bar, shown in the screenshot below.

Validated parameters
You can examine the validation results by clicking the System validation.

This icon indicates that changes need to be made in order to perform the calculations.
This icon indicates that caluclation can be performed with possible impact in the results.
This icon indicates there are no issues for that particular validation.
You can see in the example above that the validation provided the following data:
Inverters connected to the same transformer do not have the same AC voltage parameters, marked with the icon

All MPPTs are within their load limits, marked with the icon

The rest of validations are correct and marked with the icon

This insight indicates what you need to change to make the system pass the validation. To fix the issues in this case, you need to:
Select inverters with the same Vac for all inverter setups.
Decrease the string size per inverter in the array settings.
Note: You can save an invalid design and return to it later to fix the issues. Minor issues may still allow you to execute the simulation.
Deactivate automatic system validations
To disable the automatic system validations, navigate to System and uncheck the option Auto-update design.
Tip: Diabling atutomatic system validations, allows to make several changes without triggering the automatic validation after each step, keeping the interface responsive when working on very large power plants.
