We will show you how to manage your PV catalog company account, invite users, or get your API key.
Your PVCC company account
Important: This section is accessible to admin users only.
You can access your company’s account from the main menu at the top - My company. The main navigation contains links to general information, the user management page, the invitations list, and API access information.
Note: If your account is new with currently pending verification, the user management, invitations, and API sections might be locked. They will unlock once your account is verified and activated.

General account information
The general information panel is the first you will see when entering the company management section. Your address, VAT ID, and registration credentials are provided here.
It also offers information about your account activation and contributor status, and whether you can publish your components or not. The availability of the component publishing feature is determined by the discussion between you and the PVCC representatives, and is aimed mainly at manufacturers.
Note: If your component publishing status says “Not allowed”, you can still add components to the catalog for your private company use and use them in your projects via API.
Contributor status
In case your company is contributing to the catalog by providing the published components information, additional verification process might be performed to verify the authenticity of your company. The contributor status is then used when determining the confidence class of the components being reviewed.
Once your company is activated you will not be able to change the company information such as company name, address and others.
User management
The Users section provides you with tools to invite and manage users under your company account.
All company users are listed here, stating their name and email address.
You can search the users by name and email or filter them based on activation status.
Use this button to invite a new user. Next, you will be prompted to choose the user’s role and email address. The new user will then receive an invitation to join your company.
You can change the user’s role by clicking the role in the list and selecting the new one. The role will change once the users logs in again.
Activate or deactivate the user by clicking on the user status.

API access
The API access page enables you to see and generate API keys to connect the catalog to your applications. You can have multiple API keys for better usage tracking and clarity. You can see when each key has been created and by whom, and its description.
Use the “Create new key” button to generate a new API key.
Use the pencil icon to edit the API key description to differentiate between various keys and their usage.
You can learn more about generating the API keys and how to connect your catalog account to the Evaluate application in the API integration and Solargis Evaluate connection guide.
