We will introduce you to the Prospect application, its user interface, and how to work with it.
Solargis Prospect application
Solargis Prospect is a powerful tool designed to help you evaluate the solar potential of your photovoltaic (PV) sites worldwide. It offers access to comprehensive solar, meteorological, and environmental data, enabling you to estimate solar yields and assess potential gains and losses during the pre-feasibility phase of your project.
Key features include reliable and accurate solar data, fast site comparisons, a comprehensive environmental overview, and a solar power calculator with analytics. Additionally, Prospect supports collaboration and multilingual capabilities, making it an ideal solution for global solar project development.
Feature availability in subscription tiers
The granularity of the data and availability of services depends on your subscription. This also applies to map layers - the full list is available for Professional subscription only. The subscription stages and included features are outlined here.
Before starting to work with the Prospect application, ensure you have selected the correct company account. The visibility of the projects and availability of features depends on the selected company and its subscription.

Main top navigation menu: Select between Map page, Projects page where you can see and manage all your projects, and Compare page where you can compare projects.
Sidebar navigation menu: Filter displayed projects to show active, recent, or archived projects or projects with particular labels.
Map layer selector: Select a layer parameter to display on the map.
Search locations: You can search for locations by name or enter coordinates.
Save selected location as a project: Your selected location will be added to a new project. Its address and coordinates are outlined under the button.
Map data: Solar resource data are displayed in this section. Every parameter has its map layer you can select in the map selector (step no.3).
Help center: Contact our support, accessd ocumentation, or submit feedback.
Projects page
