General
Project Manager – project list and map:
Projects are now sorted by last activity (update date).
The line measurement tool has been reintroduced for Prospect map and added to the Home and Evaluate maps.
We have improved the loading time in the project list and map for users with a large number of projects.
Map clustering has been introduced for enhanced user experience when working with maps.
Customer admin changes (Figure 1 & Figure 2):
“Billing & payments” section has been renamed to “Orders & payments.”
Order & payments page offers improved UX and new features such as downloading pro-forma invoices, final invoices, and payment receipts (when generated).
We have improved the order detail list view to provide a better overview of historical and current orders.
New list fields now include order items and an enhanced UX for delivery and payment status.
Prospect
Project search functionality now also searches within existing projects.
Evaluate
The Project data page has been divided into two tabs (Solargis data and Imported data) for better asset organisation.
Customers now automatically receive the up-to-date version of their data source when upgrading projects from Early stage to Full evaluation.
Temporal resolution of the data used in the available energy systems is now visible in the energy system selector for quick reference.
Users can now use the Project data page to upload up to 5 custom terrain data files (GeoTIFF file format) to use in their designs for enhanced simulation results.
The charts in the Analysis section now display units also on the ‘y” axis.
The PV statistics/PVOUT specific and PR page now shows monthly performance ratio values.
The PVOUT_DC_CLIP value has been split into PVOUT_DC_SELF_CLIP and PVOUT_DC_CLIP values to provide more transparency in losses representation, and this is reflected on all related pages and reports.
Unavailability losses on the Losses page are now presented in a separate table.
Energy system designer
Fixed-mounting PV systems are now supported with a terrain-following feature (Figure 3):
Segments can now be set as “Terrain following” or as “Planar segments”.
Ray-tracing simulation supports terrain following fixed one-angle mounting.
Building segments have been converted to Polygon shading objects:
You can now generate a restricted area underneath the object with custom exclusion zone settings.
The object can be moved by the move tool.
It adapts to undulated terrain.
It now reflects light more realistically thanks to the improved texture rendering.
It is now possible to set terrain blending (grading) around the segment to avoid terrain artifacts.
The Save button has been split to offer additional “Save and close” and “Close” options for increased flexibility.
Grid connection frequency has been added to the grid connection settings.
Reports & exports
Users can now select a date range for their exports.
Error messages for report generation have been improved to provide more clarity.
