Application release notes
Important: Please note that not all newly released features are guaranteed to be backward compatible; in some cases, adjustments to existing projects or re-simulation may be required to ensure full functionality.

General
Federated identity provider (IdP) integration is rolling out, enabling customers with enterprise accounts to use their own IdP (e.g., Google Workspace, Okta) for authentication.
Multi-factor authentication is now supported.
Overall platform performance has been improved, and several action buttons have been relocated more consistent workflows.
Home, Prospect, and Evaluate project managers are now more unified in both features and design.
Users can now archive multiple projects at once.
Prospect
The design and behavior of the project manager is now aligned with Home and Evaluate for a unified user experience.
“Country” has been added as a new column in the project list.
Marking multiple projects on the map is no longer supported.
Evaluate
Download functionality for Reports & Exports has been redesigned to better handle strict network security settings commonly used by corporate customers.
Evaluate now supports multiple data sources:
Users can request the latest Solargis data version for their projects.
Data sources can be viewed and requested on the Project data screen (Figure 1).
Selected data sources are available for running new simulations.
Different data sources can be used in the Energy System selector and ES list.
Reports and Exports can now reference selected data sources.
PV exports now use 15-minute data resolution by default.
Energy system designer
Monthly and yearly time series charts have been introduced to the snow and soiling losses (Figure 2).
Restricted areas and restricted lines now follow terrain for more accurate layout design (Figure 3).
Restricted areas now support buffer zones, improving flexibility when defining no-build regions.
PV module filtration criteria have been updated, offering users more precise control when selecting modules.
The application now prevents accidental closing of the tab during project work to protect user progress.
The time slider now allows selection of a 1-minute time step, enabling finer resolution for shading analysis.
All ESD export files are now generated with proper filenames for easier identification and management.
Bill of Materials (BOM) can now be generated even if the Solargis model for soiling or snow is invalidated.
Interactive BOM data—including prices and custom items—are now included when exporting the BOM to XLSX format.
Resolved an error that occurred when editing restricted lines.
Reports & exports
Uncertainty is now supported in reports for projects where Uncertainty data was provided.
Chapter 1 (Summary) now displays Uncertainty data.
A new Chapter 8 (GHI and DNI uncertainty, probabilities of exceedance) has been introduced.
PV simulator
The Transient thermal correction model is now also used for 15-minute data simulations.
Soiling losses on the back side of a bifacial module are calculated as 15% of the soiling losses applied to the front side.
