Application release notes

Important: Please note that not all newly released features are guaranteed to be backward compatible; in some cases, adjustments to existing projects or re-simulation may be required to ensure full functionality.

Software version

24.3.2026

2.7.0

General

  • My Profile and User account links & pages have been renamed to User settings.

  • Descriptions of various selection modes have been implemented into the Multiselect option for maps.

Prospect

  • Prospect users without an active Prospect subscription are no longer able to Save or Calculate a PV configuration.

Evaluate

  • Multiple projects can now be selected in the Map view.

  • Model Adapted delivery:

    • Model adaptation can be requested, only for fully activated projects, and no longer has input parameters.

    • Delivery of Model-adapted data is properly communicated to the customer.

  • New Inverter statistics page created in Analysis → PV Statistics section.

  • GTI info and data are now split to Front & Rear for bifacial PV systems.

Energy system designer

  • PV simulation parameters offered in the Energy system data export dialog are now affected by the selected resolution.

  • Introduced terrain-adapted layout including trackers on uneven terrain (without backtracking).

  • Table collision highlights collisions between panels and inverters, between panels themselves, and with terrain, including checks in tracker limit positions (Figure 1).

  • Manual AC cable tracing for MV/HV lets you draw your own medium-voltage and high-voltage routes (Figure 2).

  • MV/HV cable sizing with CAPEX adds cost-aware sizing for AC cables.

  • Shading lines and shading polygons now support heights up to 500 m.

  • You can now use arrays as allowed objects in restriction areas and restriction lines.

  • Energy System Designer now checks that the achieved DC/AC ratio stays close to your target.

  • You can now trigger layout recalculation on demand.

  • When on-demand recalculation is enabled, Energy System Designer now clearly indicates when the scene is out of date.

  • We simplified inverter and string sizing workflows by removing modes in favor of an explicit recalculation action.

  • Table collision validation detects collisions more consistently and earlier.

  • Backspace now behaves as expected when you delete objects in the scene on macOS.

Reports & exports

  • Improved descriptions in the Report generation form.

  • PV report PDFs now also contain a 2D powerplant layout.

  • Description of PVsystem exports usage added to the Data export dialog.

  • For day, month & year resolutions, the sun position parameters SUN_ELEVATION and SUN_AZIMUTH are no longer available.
