We will explain how to upload PAN/OND files and use them to create new components.

Creating components from PAN/OND files  

If you already have some of your data in electronic form from other types of software such as PVSyst, you can use the existing data and load them into the catalog without having to fill them manually.

You can load the component information from:

  • PAN files - files containing technical info about PV panels

  • OND files - files containing technical info about inverters

To upload PAN/OND file:

  1. Navigate to the Components page.

  2. Click the “Add new” button.

  3. Select module (for PAN file) or inverter (OND file).

  4. Click the “Upload file” button at the top of the component creation page, select the file from your computer, and confirm.

After you upload the file, all values present in the file will be loaded into the form. You can continue filling in other values, or you can save the component for editing later. You can only upload PAN and OND files at the moment
