You will learn what the Solargis Forecast service is and gather detailed information about its subscription plans and specifications.

Overview

Solargis Forecast API service provides access to solar resource and climate data, and some calculated parameters such as PVOUT from the present moment up to 14 days ahead (image below) displays the Forecast data timeline in relation to the data sources and the Monitor service.

The data provided by Solargis Forecast API is sourced from a combination of high-resolution satellite observations and advanced atmospheric models, ensuring robust and reliable information for solar resource assessment and forecasting. You can read more about the data sources and quality here.

Solargis Forecast API service has dedicated subscription plans to accommodate your needs.

Subscription to Solargis Forecast API consists of multiple API services, each covering different use cases and providing different datasets. For each API service, a separate API access is required, which includes an access token with its validity period and usage limits. For more details, refer to the subscription plans below.

Note: The Forecast API shares an endpoint with the Monitor service and you can learn about how to set it up in our API documentation.
