# Evaluate add-ons and data source updates

**In this document**

You'll get an overview of what you can add to a Full evaluation project beyond its default data: dataset add-ons, expert add-on services, and updates to a newer Solargis data source, with a short introduction to each and links to its detailed guide.

Beyond the data your project receives at activation, Solargis offers additional **datasets**, expert **services**, and **newer data sources** as they become available. All three are managed in the **Data & services** section of your project.

## Evaluate add-ons

Add-ons are additional **datasets** you can activate on your project's data source: **uncertainty data**, **TMY Pxx datasets**, **high temporal resolution** (1-minute) data, and **site adaptation of the Solargis model**. Some are included in Full evaluation at no additional cost, others are paid.

## Evaluate add-on services

Add-on services are **expert services** delivered by Solargis specialists rather than datasets you switch on. They cover site adaptation, quality control and harmonization of your ground measurements, ground surface albedo analysis, PV energy yield evaluation, historical forecast, consultancy support for complex projects, and soiling loss assessment. Each is quoted individually.

## Data source updates

Solargis data and models are updated regularly. If a newer data source becomes available while you work on a project, you can add it **alongside** the existing one, choose which data source is **primary**, and **archive** the ones you no longer need active.
