# Personal profile customization

**In this document**

Find out how to customize your account and set your preferred units and privacy settings, edit your name or change your password, view companies and trials you are subscribed to, or your API subscriptions.

## Prerequisites

- An active Solargis account.

## User profile page

The user **profile page** can be accessed using the company selection menu. To enter your profile, select the**“User Settings”** link.

By default, you will be presented with the **General**tab, where you can:

- Change your **name and password**,
- Select **unit settings,**
- Change **privacy settings.**

The **Company Accounts** tab lets you see the full list of companies you are linked to and your user role for each. Use the three-dot menu to switch to any of them if required. The difference between a company and a personal account is explained here.

The **Trials**section allows you to view your active trials with their expiry dates.

Your linked Analyst devices are listed in the **Registered Solargis Analyst devices** section. If no Analyst device is registered, you will be offered a download of the application instead in the data field.

The **API subscriptions** part of your profile gives you an overview of your current API subscriptions. You can examine their details using the respective**“View”** links.

> **Note**: You may not see all mentioned profile sections in your account. The section's availability depends on your user account privileges.

## Changing your preferred units

You can set the preferred units used in the applications in your profile in the **General**tab using the**“Change unit settings”**link.
