# PAN and OND file upload

**In this document**

You'll learn how to create components by uploading PAN/OND files (single or bulk): navigating to My components, selecting the component type, choosing PAN/OND upload, and optionally selecting compatible data formats during or after import. Covers the automatic validation of imported components (resulting in "Validated" or "Draft" status), and how validated components can then be used in Solargis Evaluate designs — noting that sending components for review must still be done individually, as bulk review submission isn't supported.

## Prerequisites

- An active Solargis PV components catalog account.
- Admin or editor access editing purposes.

## Uploading PAN/OND file

The catalog lets you upload component data using PAN/OND files. You can upload a single component at a time or you can upload multiple items in bulk.

To upload components in a PAN/OND file, navigate to **My components** page:

1. Click the **“Add new”** button.
2. Select the Bulk upload **PV modules** **for PAN** upload, or Bulk upload **inverters** **for OND** upload.
3. In the next popup, select the respective file upload.

In the next dialog, upload your PAN or OND files, respectively. Here, you may also select the datatypes the component should be compatible with, but this can be done later.

## Final changes

Once the components are imported and everything is in order, they may be marked as **"Validated"**. Alternatively, they may remain in a **"Draft"** state if changes are required.

Each component undergoes [validation](/v1/docs/component-review-process), and the results are available on the detail screen for your review. You can address any findings if necessary.

> [!NOTE]
> **Tip**: If a component is marked as **"Validated,"** you can proceed with further steps without making any changes. However, if you wish to send components for review, this must be done manually one by one, as bulk processing of components is not currently supported.
