You'll get an overview of the charts in the project's Analysis section: how to work with them, what the averages and summaries are calculated from, and how the charts are grouped by temporal resolution, with links to the detailed guide for each group.
The charts in the Analysis section present your project's data across the whole time series. They were precisely crafted to depict the data in the easiest, most understandable way, and most charts within a category are similar, with subtle differences only.
To make them easier to navigate, the charts are documented in groups by temporal resolution: yearly and monthly, daily, hourly, and 15-minute values, plus a small set of charts that use their own visualisations.
Working with the charts
The following applies to every chart group:
The parameters displayed are described in the chart's legend. In some charts, you can toggle the parameter visibility on/off by clicking its name in the legend.
Hover over the chart to inspect a particular timestamp's data in the popup.
Some parameters may offer higher granularity data charts, for example daily or hourly, and you can access these in the charts menu.
Notes:
All charts are derived from the same dataset, but the values in various charts and tables may be interpreted differently to better understand the location's solar resource, climate, and environment.
The averages and summaries in the charts are always calculated using the data from complete years only. For example, if you look at a yearly summary chart in December, the calculated data will not include data starting from January of the same year.
Yearly and monthly charts
These charts summarise the data at the longest time scales: monthly statistics with minimum and maximum values, interannual variability of monthly summaries and averages, the yearly and monthly Time Series charts, and a combined summaries and averages table shown as a heatmap.

Daily charts
The monthly histogram of daily values shows how often a parameter fell within a given range on a daily basis, together with percentile bands and the cumulative distribution function.

Hourly charts
These charts show behaviour across the hours of a day, month by month: hourly statistics with percentile ranges, colour-coded hourly data tables, and the monthly histogram of hourly values.

15-minute values charts
At the shortest available time step, these charts show the distribution of 15-minute values and the histogram of signed and unsigned 15-minute changes. Their availability depends on the location and the temporal granularity of its dataset.

Other charts
Two parameters use their own visualisations rather than the standard histograms: wind, shown as a directional rose of speed and direction, and ground surface albedo, shown as monthly averages under the environmental category.

PV energy system charts
If a PV energy system is selected for the project, the PV statistics, PV system loss, and PV long-term degradation charts will be available. They are calculated using our advanced PV Simulator, considering many factors, such as inverter and array parameters, cabling losses, shading, or snow and soil losses. They provide detailed insight into the feasibility of the power plant at the selected location.
