# Dashboard project details

**In this document**

You'll learn how to view a project's general details (owner, dates, time zone), application visibility, and location details (address, GPS coordinates, elevation, terrain slope) from the dashboard, and how to edit properties such as project name, notes, owner, and labels, including hiding the project address.

## Prerequisites

- An active Solargis account.
- Admin rights, for editing purposes.
- One or more active projects in any of the Solargis applications.

## Project overview and location details

Clicking the **project name** will redirect you to the project overview page, where you can access the project and its location details.

1. General **project details** include the project’s name, owner, time created and last modified, and time zone.
2. **Visibility** of the project in applications.
3. **Location details** such as address, GPS coordinates, elevation, or terrain slope.
4. **Project properties** link to access and edit its properties.

## Changing the project’s properties

To change the project properties, do the following:

1. Click **“more detail”** in the **General tab** of the project overview. Alternatively, use the **“Project properties”** button in the top right corner.
2. In the **General tab**, click the **“Edit”** button.
3. You can change the project name, add a note, change the owner, or assign [labels](/v1/docs/dashboard-project-management#creating-and-assigning-labels).
4. Click the **“Save”** button to save the changes.

> **Note**: You can hide project address while editing the project properties if required. Only the coordinates will remain visible and this will be applied across all applications, pages, and reports for this particular project.
